The Seafire Steak House and Bar, Atlantis – The Palm Dubai

When i was invited for a foodies safari..My excitement knew no bounds!

Thankyou Sally (mycustardpie) for the wonderful experience which was well organised(thankyou Amanda and Tariq from The Atlantis) and a time to remember! Imagine going to 4 restaurants and tasting their best , All on the same day?? A dream come true! We all met up at their grand lobby and the designer within me loved the interiors So hey, even this blog will be about the food they have to offer, It will also be of the lovely interiors of the 4 restaurants.I am a huge fan of short posts, i like to make it short and sweet. I was photographing, checking the interiors and tasting food so I Must admit that I dint do a great job at multitasking But managed to get to You bits of everything! Here goes

Food Seafire Steakhouse and Bar

Loved the beef tartare with the quail eggs a must try (even though I’m not a fan of poached eggs, I loved the feeling it gave to my mouth chewing through the moist, the gooey and crumbly cracker at the base)I’m not a fan of raw meat but the beef carpaccio with mushrooms was interesting. The best of the lot was the JD marinated short ribs! This is something I will go back to the restaurant for! Then chef Sasha also explained to us, the 3 main types of steaks the rib eye, strip loin and the fillet ( I would suggest the rib eye – I thought it was lush and wanted to have one more!)

beef carpaccio

I was amazed that their meat came from Australia and he explained to us how the cows are grain fed to get tender steak !Steak lovers Seafire is a must try! it also has a wine cellar and their drinks are lovely too!

Interiors-

The Seafire steakhouseand Bar   was designed by the famous design firm Wilson and Associates.

We were  welcomed to the restaurant through a rustic, bespoke driftwood door and leather chairs allow guests to enjoy their dining experience in a relaxing setting. The colour was an orange-red to the green at the Bar. I particularly loved the sliced bark table tops of the bar lounge, interesting. The venue is dim-lit, but an amalgam of new and old- Blown glass wall feature with timber, rustic floor tiles with stone clad columns, A timber tasting room allows guests to dine in private, or taste favourite vintages from the wine wall or from the bespoke six metre high wine cooler. There was a sense of South American steak house feel to the Interior setting.I loved the fact that every wall was well thought of! A different finish to each surface, and no boring repetitions. There was woven timber at one end, a stone column at the other, but all tied together by the light and the furniture.
